Universal Orlando Resort has officially announced that its highly anticipated fourth theme park, Epic Universe, will open on May 22, 2025. Development on this expansive project began in 2019, and while there were earlier speculations of a late 2025 opening, fans can now look forward to this spring debut.

Epic Universe is Universal’s most ambitious undertaking and will be its largest park to date. For years, details about the opening date remained vague, leading to heightened anticipation among fans. Currently, ticket sales are in their initial phase, with more options—including general admission single-day tickets and Express passes—set to be announced in the future. Guests can purchase existing multi-day packages directly from Universal or through travel agents starting October 22, 2024.

• These packages span three to five days, with an extra day included for access to Epic Universe.
• Single-day tickets will only be available to Annual Passholders, with sales beginning October 24, 2024.

In addition to ticket bundles, guests can start booking stays at the Universal Helios Grand Hotel on October 22. This hotel, featured in the park's concept art, overlooks the central hub and includes its own entrance to Epic Universe. However, theme park admission is not included with hotel reservations. Notably, rooms at nearby value resorts, Stella Nova and Terra Luna, can be booked now, with openings on January 21 and February 25, 2025, respectively.
